The Early Childhood Music & Literature Workshop on October 1st will be filled with many musical adventures as we introduce you to instruments from around the world, and learn how to use those percussion instruments sitting in your cupboards collecting dust. Enjoy singing to your children in their classroom and help them to learn songs (both familiar and new) in fun and innovative ways. Use props to enhance your listening and movement, and use literature as a musical tool. Learn how to use technology and music theory to enhance your children's singing abilities as well as your own.
The *NEW* Movement & More Music on October 22nd will teach movement with all age groups. This workshop will motivate your teachers to want to move with their students as we intoduce props, dramatic play, dance, creative movement and much more. Music vendors will be available to sell the items that we use int he workshop. Lunch will be provided.
The Multicultural Literature & Music Workshop (date tba) will show teachers and directors how to have your students travel around the world with literature and music. Your teachers will be given ideas to do the 7 continents in a fun and innovative way! Great for children ages 2 and up.
You will leave the workshops feeling ready to start on Monday with many new ideas and have materials to get those ideas going. Lesson plans will be given as well as take home items for each teacher who attends. Music vendors will be avaliable to sell the items that we use in our workshop. Lunch will be provided.
